On May 20, the United Nations Department of Global Communications organized the “Civil Society Orientation Program for Spring 2021: Introduction to the United Nations“, a major UN initiative that seeks to involve civil society in dialogue and collaboration to understand the fascinating world of the United Nations.
The Foundation participated in the panel dedicated to the DECADE OF ACTION. It discussed the work being done to make the most of the time remaining until 2030 to implement the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and ensure that we build a better world for everyone. Paloma Eizaguirre Irujo, Communications Coordinator of the Novia Salcedo Foundation participated in the panel with Amanda Laurence, National Information Officer, United Nations Information Center for the Caribbean Area, Port of Spain Information Center, and Baldomero Lago, Global Director of Utah Valley University, and moderated by Nanette Braun, Chief of Communication Campaigns Service, DGC (UN SCD).
